Ferns: symbolize sincerity, humility, longevity, growth and renewal / Fern Hill: the place of our first gathering / Project: a collaborative undertaking

A grassroots, local network of women entrepreneurs, business owners, founders, investors and everything in between. Gathering to support each other, build connections and share resources.

About

In October 2021, a group of 15 women gathered over dinner at a place called Fern Hill.  Most of the women at the dinner had never met one another despite living and working only a few miles apart. The group included bakers, restaurateurs, caterers, therapists, salon and boutique owners, makeup artists, photographers, event planners, media relations specialists, producers, investors, and philanthropists. Some of the women had run their own business for decades, others were currently in the process of launching a new business.

Despite these  differences, we were united by a deep desire to connect with and support other women. Each one of us uniquely passionate about our endeavors, we bonded over the shared struggles and uphill battles women face founding, running and growing businesses. The excitement and enthusiasm in the room was palpable.

One year later, we have grown our group to 200 women strong, continuing to build on the energy and excitement of that very first dinner.

The goal of the Fern Hill Project is to build and nurture this incredible community we have created by supporting and inspiring one another, being resources for each other, our business, ventures, endeavors and dreams.

Membership is free. The only requirements are that you are kind, supportive, and generous with your knowledge and experience with others.
